 The events that started my skepticism about snow and climate change.  That these back to back blizzards occurred soon after the climategate emails were online, prompted my investigation into the data.

The record snow in the Boston are 2015 (it snowed more because it was cold, not because of global warming)

 In most areas of the United States, the amount of snow is directly connected to the temperature. 

 Especially the daily high (Tmax), but the nighttime low (Tmin) can also be a factor.

The essential factor is the snow ratio.  

Understanding what causes heavy snow is also important.

It snowed more in Texas because it was cold (February 2021)

This entry will explain and show with actual data why there was record snow and cold in Texas.  (it was not because of record precipitation)

 Like clockwork, the experts assigned blame to the record cold and snow in Texas, claiming that somehow it was because of warming, that it was so much colder.  And of course, there was so much snow because the warmer atmosphere holds more moisture, so it was more precipitation that caused so much snow.

Which is just not true.

While it is futile to expect evidence to matter, I still do this, because I enjoy it.

Google search engine experiment results

 This blog post right here was a test of Google and search.  

If you put the exact phrase  "it snows more because it's warmer" into Google, you will not find this blog, or the post.  Bing search, it is the first hit.

It's ironic because blogger.com is run by Google.  

Duckduckgo also shows this blog, as well as the forum I first used the phrase in.  (yes, I made up the completely false phrase, 

"It snows more because it's warmer"

It would be funny, except it's actually Google censoring the search engine

Oh no, not the "it snows more when it's warmer" argument! ("it snows more because it's warmer")

 Once again, the dreaded "it snows more when it's warmer" has hit the internet, again, like a bad nightmare you forgot about.  It can also be stated as "it snows more because it's warmer", which is even worse. 

Some background.  When did this insipid phrase even start?  How could it even be a thing?

In 2010, there is no mention of such a phrase on Google, which makes sense of course, because who would ever claim such a thing?  One can be sure it does no appear anywhere in print as well.

So where and when is the first mention of such a ludicrous idea? Does it exist in 2013?  No, it does not.

I could go on and on, but to cut to the chase, it appeared when I made it up.
